A brand new module "the background manager" as been added to DMK in the 4.2 build version. It will allow you to manage in lots of way the images files you use for background. Also...

• An independent volume control was added.
• It is possible to resize the width of the players list.
• A drop-down list displays the «play lists» present in the application directory.
• And lots more as you'll see bellow.

The software was again improved for the support of non standard .kar or.mid formats. Indeed, after extensive research, the algorithm was modified, allowing the interpretation of the lyrics of some to .kar and .mid that were incompatible so far.

New functions available in version 4.2

New Additions to version 4.2.4205

The DMK format (.dmk):

In this version build, it's now possible to merge or assemble a music file, a kok file, a ko1 file, an image file and a font size and color configuration file into a .dmk file.
- Right click a music file, then choose from the contextual menu 'Generate DMK file...'

You can extract the archived files from a .dmk file to a folder.
- Right click a .dmk file, then choose from the contextual menu 'Extract the DMK files...'

Change font size and family of the DMK player window:

Change font size and family of the song list of the DMK player window.
- Right click the song list. Choose in the contextual menu 'Modify Fonts'.

New Additions to version 4.2

Directory views:

A new directories view with these features: Reset, Set as Root and Multiple Selections.

Also support Windows right click functions.

Furthermore, you can resize between your list and file pane >>>.

Here is the precedence order for the background images that will be displayed in the starting up of a song

1. Inside the kok

2. In the list of selection

3. File carrying the same name in the directory of the music file supporting the JPG, BMP, PCX, TIG, GIF extensions,

4. In background image manager

5. the default DMK Background Image

A drop-down list displays the lists of selections:

A drop-down list displays the lists of selections in the application’s directory. Select *** Browse *** to open lists which are not in the application’s directory.

New keyboard shortcuts:

>> Enter = Play
>> Ctrl = Stop
>> F4 = Display the player window.
>> (-) = Back a song
>> + = Next song
