How to find the Direct X version installed on your PC (Windows).
First choose "Start" (bottom-left of your screen), then "Execute". Type dxdiag in the field and hit enter, a window containing several infos on your PC will open. The Direct X version is among those infos. Choose "Save all informations" at the bottom, and a dialog box will open to save them to a text file "DxDiag.txt".
